HOW MANY YEARS HAS LTAS BEEN OPERATING?

We commenced business as a small part-time operation in 1990, since then our client base has expanded dramatically and so in 2001 we became a full-time business and in 2003 registered as a limited company with Companies House.

ARE YOU AN APPROVED TRAINING PROVIDER WITH THE HSE FOR FIRST AID PURPOSES?

Yes we are and have been since March 1990, our HSE FAAMS Approval Licence Number is 912/90. We train FAW Tutors, Trainer Assessors, the Full FAW and Requalification certificates as well as the Emergency First Aid certificate. In addition to this we are approved to deliver the OFSTED regulated Early Years and Paediatric First Aid Course, alongside many other first aid related courses for diverse requirements and environments.

I AM IMPRESSED BY THE DIVERSITY OF YOUR COMPANY PORTFOLIO, WHAT IS THE BACKGROUND OF YOUR TRAINERS AND CONSULTANTS?

All of our Trainers and Consultants are employed on the basis of their personality, qualifications, experience and empathy. They all come from quite diverse backgrounds, some are ex-military, others have come through an educational teaching background, and many from other industries but they have all also had many years of experience across many sectors of the sport and leisure industry, including operational and management positions. A number are eminent practitioners and represent the industry nationally across its diverse service. We are quite unique in this way. We are proud of all our professionals and adopt a very ‘Client First’ approach.

ARE YOU A REGISTERED TRAINING PROVIDER WITH THE INSTITUTE OF QUALIFIED LIFEGUARDS?

Yes we are and have been since the requirement to do so took place in 2001, although we have many years of experience and recognition in delivering both the RLSS UK National Beach and Pool Lifeguard Qualifications, we also deliver site specific training for employers and members of the community. We also provide community based certification courses in lifesaving and other disciplines.

DO YOU PROVIDE COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDER TRAINING?

Yes we do and currently work closely with East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust because we have members of our company who are Scheme Co-ordinators or Community First Responders in the communities where they live within the East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust area.
